Conduct soil testing and amend soil as needed for plant growth.
Oversee irrigation systems and ensure they are functioning properly.
Manage pest control strategies, ensuring the health of plants without harming the environment.
Supervise garden staff and provide training on horticultural best practices.
Conduct research on new plant species and horticultural techniques.
Provide advice on plant care, landscaping, and garden design to clients or the public.
Manage the purchasing of plants, tools, and equipment for the garden or landscape.
Organize and participate in educational events, workshops, and garden tours.
Maintain accurate records of plant growth, treatments, and landscape designs.

Required Skills: Knowledge of plant species, soil science, pest management, and plant diseases.
Experience with garden design and landscape planning.
Ability to use horticultural tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and the public.
Experience with irrigation systems, fertilization, and pest control methods.
Attention to detail and a creative eye for design.
Physical stamina for working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly horticultural practices is a plus.
